converting your old media into the newest form
There are many reasons to keep your old home videos, especially when they hold so many memories of family. Updating your videos and images to a digital format not only saves on space, but also helps preserve the media for future viewings.
? Questions ?
What kind of videos do you convert?
Home movies and personal images. I cannot convert any copyrighted films such as feature films like Disney or Warner Brothers.
What kind of restorations can you do?
With each film and image I view, I see what kind of restoration needs to be done. A lot of older versions of films have a tendency to have film that can age poorly over the years.
What kind of pricing do you do?
I charge $0.30 per slide and per image. If a film is 30 mins or under, I charge $20.00 per film. If a film is longer than 30 minutes, I charge $30.00 per film.
Why should I convert my media?
Same reason what restoration could do. Cleaning up old footage and modifying it could help preserve the media for future generations to view old memories. It’s also a good idea to digitize your media when companies stop making devices such as VCRs. What happened to the laser disc? No one knows.
